Journalists from Palestine work under extreme conditions, but they also have a unique opportunity to improve and authenticate local and international media coverage on the region, especially in the digital media landscape.
Throughout our training, the journalists practice a range of digital media and publish it at  On the Record:Palestinian Journalists Reporting from the United Nations. In addition to journalism fundamentals, we provide instruction in photography, data visualization, radio and video production, and social media engagement.
The recent cohort chose to focus on finding new angles to report ongoing issues.
Check out a few of their short films:
No Place Like Home  A Palestinian woman must choose between marriage and her homeland.
No Joke:  A Palestinian comedienne uses humor as a form of resistance.
Destination Palestine  A taxi driver in NYC dreams of earning enough to return home to his village.
